Frequently asked questions

Are your prices per room or per person?

The prices shown on screen are per room per night and include breakfast. This is based on occupancy of up to 2 people. Some rooms we can accommodate extra beds for an extra charge.

Do you accept children?

We accept children over the age of 12 that share a room with their parents. This decision has been made after feedback from guests over the last year. The only exception will be where bookings have been made before January 2008 or if the children have stayed with us previously.

Where can I park?!

There is parking immediately outside the front of the property which is currently free as the machines are not working and haven't done for the last 18 months! There is free parking down the side of us, but only between the hours of 6pm and 8am - all other times it is a permit zone. There are pay & display car parks within 100 metres of us. Please be aware though that during warm weather and Bank Holidays that parking spaces become scarce - especially the free spaces out the front.

Do you have a lift?

Unfortunately no, we do not. The layout of the building and subsequent cost means that installing a lift is prohibitive for us. Our bedrooms are located on the 1st & 2nd floors, so if stairs are a problem, please bear this in mind - but we will do our best to help you as much as we can!

Do you take a deposit when I book?

No, we don't. It doesn't matter if you book direct with us or online, your card details are only used as security. The only time we charge your card is if you ask us to or you cancel outside of our cancellation period.

I need to cancel - what do I do?

If you have booked online, then you need to follow the instructions in the confirmation email. Otherwise, give us a call and we will cancel the reservation. We ask that at least seven (7) days notice is given. If a cancellation is received in the seven (7) days leading to your arrival then we reserve the right to charge the full amount of your stay.
